Well-known jeweler Rebaje, manufactured his company's jewelry in Mexico throughout the 1940's-1960's. This piece eventually made its way to New Delhi where a respected antique jewelry dealer sold it to me as "French Art Deco." ...I guess the ring's bold simplicity mislead this dealer whose speciality was antique East Indian jewelry. I loved the design and didn't really care where it was from.(Ring Size 6)
