Sterling silver link bracelet of bezel set "Finnish Greenstone," 1974.

Finnish designer, Taisto Palonen, designed a collection for the jewelry manufacturer, Kultateollisuus Ky during the early 1970's. His work is characterized by a strong clean geometry with an emphasis on stone formations. His work is usually made from sterling silver and "Finnish Greenstone" which is similar in color and vein to nephrite jade. His work has only recently been seen on the international market and this piece is rare in comparison to the rings on the next two web pages. It may even be one-of-a-kind (see: below).
